Challenge
Provisioning and governing complex multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP involved fragmented scripts, manual approval delays, and high risk of inconsistent configurations. Engineers lacked a unified platform for infrastructure visual design, real-time cost governance, and distributed transactional consistency.
Business problem
Enterprise teams spent weeks navigating separate cloud provider consoles, manual ticket queues, and opaque billing dashboards. Infrastructure drift and lack of automated rollback during provisioning failures led to costly downtime and inflated cloud operational expenses.
Solution
Architected and engineered mPaaS: an enterprise-grade cloud platform backend using Go, event-driven microservices, and Temporal.io workflow orchestration implementing the Saga design pattern with automated compensating rollbacks. Built an interactive infrastructure design studio with React Konva, Monaco Editor, and a Next.js frontend, complemented by an AI-driven multi-LLM cloud cost analytics and advisory engine.
Architecture
Go microservices backend orchestrated by Temporal.io (20+ fault-tolerant activities for cloud provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle events), Saga pattern for distributed transactions and compensating rollbacks, React Konva for 60fps drag-and-drop architecture visualization, Monaco Editor for real-time Terraform/IaC editing, Ory Kratos for zero-trust authentication & RBAC, and Next.js App Router for the cloud portal.
Implementation
Implemented 20+ robust Temporal activities covering multi-cloud provisioning and resource governance, integrated Terraform CLI and cloud SDKs for automated resource generation, created an interactive canvas for visual topology mapping, and deployed AI multi-LLM chatbots for real-time cloud billing optimization.
